Nordsjaelland has found a replacement for Johannes Hoff Thorup. The new head coach is Jens Olsen, who has been an assistant in the club since summer 2023. The agreement with the new head coach brings great joy to Alexander Riget, who is the Technical Director of FC Nordsjælland. Riget sees a good match between the parties and believes that Jens Olsen is a skilled and experienced leader who knows the club and the players. Jens Olsen has a background as a youth coach in Lyngby and Nykøbing and has also been the head coach of the first team in Nykøbing FC. He has proven himself as a skilled talent developer and has head coaching experience at the senior level. Nordsjaelland has a squad where the next young players need to step up, and combined with our ambitions for European football, we are happy that Jens Olsen has accepted the challenge. Jens Olsen has gone through a strong development since he came to the club and has grown further. His values and competencies have been the perfect match, and we are happy to have confirmed that we saw it right in the summer.
